Vehicles
West Cumbria Search and Rescue have at their disposal a number of specialist support vehicles from Rapid Response Vehicles know as RRV to Landrover Discovery 4×4 vehicles that are capable of reaching the most remote locations.
Drones
West Cumbria Search and Rescue drone team is able to operate in a range of environments and scenarios. We are hoping to purchase a night vision capable drone this year. This will be a massive advantage when search for missing people especially during the night as well as assisting the Fire Service during wild fires.
