On Call 24 hours, 365 days of the year.
Formed in 2019, our search technicians offer the Police and Emergency Services a specially trained team to assist with the search for vulnerable missing persons throughout Cumbria.

All Team members are volunteers and come from all walks of the community regardless of their professional background and receive no payment for the services they provide, and members cover their own expenses. Our volunteers give up their free time to assist the Police in locating high-risk, missing and vulnerable individuals.
As a non-profit organisation, we rely solely on the generosity of the community to support our work. We receive no government funding; we rely on the generosity of donors to purchase essential medical equipment and supplies that are required.
Our dedicated team of volunteers take on the responsibility of fundraising, knowing that every penny raised goes directly towards making a positive impact on the lives of those we serve.
Through our community-driven fundraising efforts, we are able to ensure that our organisation has the necessary resources to continue providing exceptional care and support to those who need it most.

West Cumbria Search & Rescue is a proud member of NILA.
